Teaching

The first level of the range of courses is the bachelor's course in Sustainable Energy Systems with the three fields of study Industrial Engineering Energy Transition, Regenerative Energy Technology and Electrical Energy Technology. Building on this, the master’s degree in Sustainable Energy complements the range of courses. The Master's program is made up of an interweaving of the three fields of study Development Cooperation, Social Change & Sustainability (Transition) and Energy Technology (Engineering). Students who have acquired a bachelor's degree with a smaller scope or less suitable previous qualifications at other universities can qualify for the master's degree by taking individual modules from the bachelor's degree according to their individual requirements. This also allows permeability for other academic biographies without the need for additional resources. The top level of the course structure may be the doctorate, which is closely linked to the research projects of the ZNES.
